Job Description

Unsound Festival is the only Polish festival with global reach. Founded 18 years ago, it has branched out to the United States, Great Britain and Australia, among other countries. For our Kraków team working on the flagship event are looking to hire: 

Communications Manager

Your main tasks:

  • Co-creating and implementing the festival's communication strategy
  • Supervision over the implementation of the communication plan on social media: Facebook / Instagram / Twitter
  • Cooperation with existing media partners, finding new partners
  • Distribution of press releases
  • Conducting the process of media accreditation for the festival
  • Securing media coverage
  • Supervision over the process of creating promotional materials
  • Supervision over the schedule of promotional prints
  • Supervision of the communication department's budget
  • Settlement of barter contracts with media patrons
  • Developing communication reports

Required skills and experience:

  • Around 3 years’ experience in coordinating communication and marketing projects
  • Ability to manage projects and a team of people
  • Developed analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent command of English and Polish
  • Soft skills: openness, creativity, positive attitude. Willingness to work in a team and together with a team, humour, peace of mind, energy, able to work under pressure
  • Passion for music, knowledge of the music industry and Unsound’s music profile
