Job Description

Provide courteous and respectful customer service to our Korg USA Dealers, Service Centers, consumers and the Korg USA Sales Team. Representatives will use their product knowledge to assist customers via e-mail and occasional phone calls with questions regarding products. Product assistance includes troubleshooting issues that users may have and help them use their product to its full capabilities, providing links to other information portals such as videos, manuals, etc. The position requires excellent customer service skills and knowledge of musical instruments as well as the ability to learn and understand the products that Korg USA distributes. 

ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Field incoming calls to the Customer Service call center from Korg USA Dealers, Service Centers, Consumers and the KUSA Sales Team with questions regarding order tracking, pricing, availability, product information, etc. 
  • Order processing for various types of orders 
  • Issue various types of credits and returns 
  • Assist with the setup of new accounts 
  • Provide basic product support  
  • Attend product training sessions on new products as they are introduced
  • Assist in providing information to keep support portal and FAQ’s up to date       

  REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Hard working, responsible, team player who brings a positive and helpful mental attitude to work every day 
  • Superior telephone skills 
  • 1-2 years Customer Service experience in a call center and/or retail environment preferred 
  • Genuine interest in helping people 
  • Flexibility and ability to handle change 
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures accurately and quickly 
  • Excellent Data entry skills with attention to detail 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Must possess the ability to communicate with confidence and have strong problem solving skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal skills  
  • Respectful and courteous to customers and co-workers  
  • Experience with musical instruments 
  • Knowledge and understanding of the products distributed by Korg USA preferred 
  • Must be personable and outgoing 
  • High School or equivalent degree required, Associate’s degree preferred
