The Media Operations team develops solutions for media companies on Facebook and Instagram by creating scaled systems to address the issues impacting their experiences with the suite of Facebook products. Our Music Partner Operations team is committed to providing support for music content partners inclusive of the specific needs of the industry. 

We are seeking a Music Content Operations Specialist to manage operations and global product support functions for music publishers and collection societies. Candidates will be data driven and flexible to frequent changes. They are expected to think creatively about ambiguous issues and are passionate about problem-solving. They will also be able to work successfully across teams and regions.

  • Manage day-to-day ongoing operations with Facebook's music publishing partners
  • Communication with partners with regard to on-boarding specifications, confirming administration changes, and data reconciliation, including general documentation
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams – including commercial partnerships, operations, legal, product, and engineering teams - in an effort to scale operations support workflows across teams
  • Develop a deep expertise in Facebook’s music rights management products and how they are being used across constituent groups
  • Partner advocate for contractual rights based decisions and actions
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a BA/BS degree
  • Experience interacting with partners whose tech capacity is on a spectrum and solicit desired solutions
  • Experience managing projects to closure
  • Demonstrated experience working on product development and/or partnering with technical/engineering teams
  • 1+ years of experience in music account management, product management, online operations, consulting, or analytics, or related coursework
  • Communication skills and experience working cross-functionally, both internally and externally
  • Experience driving results to metrics
  • Knowledge of music publishing copyright, music industry licensing
  • Knowledge of digital rights management products, especially for music
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
  • Music background, preferably with record label, music publisher or digital platform experience
  • Working knowledge of DDEX, CWR, CCID and other metadata standards
  • Understanding of IP policy, processes, and products
