Hey, here’s your chance to spend your summer as a Spotify intern and become an integrated member of one of our teams. When the fall comes, this gig might turn into a permanent position, given that you’ve already graduated. 

For the Summer of 2020 we are among others looking for interns in these areas below. Please note that we might have more than one role within each area within multiple teams.

OUR ROLES WITHIN MARKETING & PR – STOCKHOLM

COMMUNICATION & PR

We are looking for a Communications Intern for our PR department. The team are the storytellers of Spotify, both internally and externally. We’re looking for a candidate passionate about presenting creators, artists, and podcasters with authentic and data-driven communication and tools that helps them to get their stories out there and for fans to enjoy and be excited by them. Among other things you will work on Content promotion (music & podcasts)

Create, manage, and pitch external communications to media, assist with stakeholders prep ahead of speaking engagements and assist with media inquiries. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences audio

Courses: Journalism, BA, Marketing, PR, Strategic Communications, Social media

Skills: PR, Strategic communications, marketing, project management, good writing skills

PRODUCT MARKETING

We are looking for a Product Marketing Intern to join our consumer marketing team in Stockholm. Consumer Product Marketing works in partnership with our consumer product teams, bringing new products to market and raising awareness and adoption of those products once launched.  We leverage insights on our audiences to position new products, tailor the messaging and ensure product/market fit. Our product marketing intern will focus on supporting Go To Market activities as needed over the summer period, supporting us to scale product marketing production through new platforms and capabilities.

Courses: Humanities, Communications or Marketing

Skills: Presentation, analytics, basic design, basic spreadsheet/ modelling skills

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to our Community Team. The Community team manages all aspects of community.spotify.com, from our superuser Rock Star Program, to managing our Moderators, updating users on new Spotify features, sharing Spotify updates and organizing the annual Rock Star Jam. As an intern you will be helping with various projects dealing with our super user Rock Star Program. That includes the planning of annual events, working with our vendors to deliver Spotify gear, and marketing the program so we have continued growth. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences audio.

Courses: Marketing, Social Media 

Skills: Ideally a background in Marketing or Social Media with a passion for music and communities.

PREMIUM RENTENTION
 

The Premium Retention team is responsible for establishing and growing an informative but meaningful relationship between Spotify and our Premium customers. Once a customer decides they want to make the leap from listening for free, to paying for our service, it is the responsibility of our team to ensure they feel welcomed, to educate and enable them to get the most out of their experience and stick around and to encourage dialogue and virality. Our intern will help out with executing on our 2020 strategy, centred around three key pillars: Getting to know our customers inside out, Ensuring communication with them is highly personalised and relevant, Ramping up our Marketing Mix. 

Courses: Marketing, Social Media 

Skills: Ideally a background in Marketing or Social Media with a passion for music and communities

THE INTERN GIG

This isn’t just any internship! Our paid internship program will last for 12-13 weeks next summer starting in the middle of June, and you’ll get a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it’s like to be a Spotify employee.

For the Program we’re looking for enthusiastic students/recent graduates with a passion for audio and an ambition to go far, just like us. You should be at the end of your studies, graduating latest Summer 2021 or recently graduated from your studies. To be eligible for our internships you need to be based in the location of the internship, e.g. Sweden for a Stockholm based internship.

Make sure attach your CV and Cover letter in English and specify what Intern role you’re interested in, in the application form. We will then match you with the best Intern role based on your interest and skill-set. 

The deadline to apply is DECEMBER 1st, 2019 at 11:59 PM CET..

You can expect the following application timeline:

– Late December, 2019 – Mid January, 2020: Application Review

– Late January, 2020 – March, 2020: Interviews

– February, 2020 – April, 2020: Offers given out

– 10 June, 2020: Intern program start
