Job Description

Time: 3 days/week, Freelance 

Job purpose: 

The Country Manager is responsible for growing RA’s audience and profile in the US as part of RA’s Contributor Network, which aims to support local scenes around the world. The role requires in-depth knowledge of the RA platform which will enable them to be an on-the-ground face of RA amongst the industry and communities in the region. The Country Manager will be managing the US City Managers, maximising their contribution and supporting them in their work with local contributors and meetups. They will also be the direct local point of contact for promoters, venues, festivals, artists and labels that wish to connect with RA. 

In addition, they will be tasked with supporting the RA Tickets service from a local business development and promoter support perspective. They will also, where possible, play a key supporting role for RA events taking place in the US. 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Shaping RAs regional strategy for future growth in the US with Head Of Content.

  • Oversee development and KPIs for Germany.

  • Local music discovery.

  • Local event discovery. 

  • Management of City Managers.

  • Local user and promoter support. 

  • Oversee meetups in their region.

  • Support and manage local partnerships and events.  

  • Ensuring that local club data is up to date.

  • Oversee content creation like events, artist, promoter and label pages for the US.

  • General content support.

Experience Required:

  • In-depth understanding of the RA site and its various user features and content

  • In-depth knowledge of the most relevant and popular electronic music artists, labels, venues, promoters and events

  • In depth knowledge of the electronic music scene in the US

  • Must be well connected in the US scene 

  • Ability to articulate precise, detailed and timely directions in writing to various users, artists, label managers, etc. 

  • Must have a keen eye for detail as well as being highly organized

  • Previous management experience a plus
