We are looking for a Data Analyst (f/m/x) with focus on sales to join our Berlin-based team.
You will work in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies providing insights to empower our product teams to improve and expand our portfolio of products and services for musicians, music producers and DJ’s.
Based in Berlin, Kreuzberg, you will join an international, multicultural, and creative environment that supports individual growth and knowledge sharing.
What You'll Do
Turn business questions into clear analytical problems and search for answers by analyzing historical data, collecting new data and conducting experiments
Active involvement in the establishment of a contemporary, data-driven and self-service-oriented culture in the company by creating, maintaining and sharing reports and dashboards as well as training and educating stakeholders on how to live a data informed culture
Develop relationships and work with sales, product, marketing, and other stakeholders to create and refine the tools and processes needed to drive commercial success
Partner closely with sales leadership to improve the efficiency of the sales processes and organization
Analyze customer buying behaviour and journeys and provide insights to optimize sales effectiveness & support commercial strategic planning
Manage continuously-evolving forecast models and methodologies, owning the quantitative analysis of the sales performance
Develop key sales support processes required to meet the growth targets of the business and drive revenue attainment and market development objectives
Align the execution of the sales team with the company strategy by defining main KPIs and goal tracking together with product leads and senior management
What You'll Bring
A strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate stakeholder requirements into questions for analysis
Profound knowledge of SQL, Python, or R.
Solid understanding of statistics (e.g. hypothesis testing, regressions, time series and association rules)
An academic degree in computer science, statistics, economics or equivalent training & experience
Experience with modern data analytics tools and platforms (e.g. GCP, Cloud SQL, Google Analytics, BigQuery, Metabase, Data Studio)
Excellent communication skills: you are able to clearly demonstrate and present your findings.
You are highly motivated and proactive, and you know that your success depends on the success of your team
You feel comfortable with taking on a wide range of tasks depending on the dynamics of the business
