POSITION: Junior Artist, Brand, and Event Manager

LOCATION: Barcelona

JOB TYPE: Full Time

START DATE: Early/Mid November 2019

COMPANY OVERVIEW: De Light Management specialize in label showcase events and representing creative talent worldwide. We offer a full spectrum of services to our clients, including creative consultancy, brand development and expansion, project management, strategy, booking and logistics, music management, and event production.

This is a full time position for an experienced junior brand & events manager, working with us on a day to day basis to deliver amazing work for our clients. This role will suit an electronic music lover who wants to take their career to the next level and work with some of the top brands in the industry.


Office Responsibilities

  • Input to global bookings’ strategy, implementation and management for our brands
  • Proactively seek out relevant opportunities for our brands and artists within the wider electronic music scene including but not limited to: new events, conferences, clubs, festivals, sponsors etc.
  • Negotiations with partners, promoters, venues, and agents to deliver the best possible outcome for our clients
  • Write and review contracts before having them approved by management team
  • Manage logistics and artist movements around key events and remotely if required
  • Have experience in search, site visits and inspections, negotiations
  • Experience writing and managing production schedules and working with multiple suppliers to deliver against these schedules
  • An appreciation for marketing in relation to event, label and artist management
  • Planning, coordination and production of concepts based on client requirements
  • Experience managing creative activity including but not limited to: design, event production, photo shoots, content creation, graphic creation, projection content, 3D visual content
  • Experience managing digital & physical marketing content
  • Day to day client management and communication
  • Team coordination for various creative and production partners working on different projects
  • Timeline creation and management
  • An appreciation of artist welfare and the ability to react quickly to any urgent requests
  • Management of external partners - PR, Booking and Distribution agencies

On Site Responsibilities

  • Be able to coordinate technical needs of artists, working with suppliers to ‘get the job done!’
  • Event Management across a range of activations including festival, showcase and brand activations
  • Artist and manager liaison
  • Crisis management with First Aid qualifications a plus
  • Stage management experience - liaising with the backline manager to ensure smooth transitions between artists
  • Supplier management throughout build, live and derig
  • Bar setup and bar staff management where required
  • Sponsor liaison and sponsor activation setup
  • Streaming setup and setup of recording equipment
  • Liaison with on-site content teams to deliver best in class content
  • Guestlist management and VIP entrance management
  • Security briefing and staff briefings on-site
  • A pleasant and hospitable attitude to everyone you encounter


  • Have 3+ years experience in event production
  • Have 3+ years experience in booking management
  • Excellent knowledge of the music industry and keeping in touch with trends
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and apply creative thinking to find solutions
  • A professional demeanour with strong networking skills
  • Have influencing, negotiation and communication skills
  • Be able to develop positive relationships with artists and their management
  • Available to travel internationally
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Have the desire to grow within the company


  • Degree or equivalent qualification in music management or related field
  • OR Degree or equivalent qualification in event production and event management related field
  • Working knowledge of music related platforms including Spotify, YouTube Music, Soundcloud
  • Data management skills to identify trends and opportunities for our artists
  • Google Analytics Academy qualifications a plus
  • Proficiency in Google Docs and Google Drive Docs, Keynote, Pages etc.
  • Fluent English, spoken and written a must. Fluent Spanish a bonus
