What You'll Do:
Responsible for period end accounting for multiple companies, including reviewing of balance sheet reconciliations (May include UK, China, Hong Kong, Germany, Spain).
Oversee month-end activities performed by our outsourced provider in Mumbai (WNS), including the review of journal entries, accruals and prepayment calculations, bad debt provisions, and payroll postings
Perform monthly trial balance reviews, identifying and resolving issues or inconsistencies to support accurate financial reporting.
Facilitate the smooth operation of the accounts payable function, including cashflow management and forecasting for these locations.
Play a key role in the successful audits of the statutory financial statements of companies in UK and EMEA regions. This will involve the GAAP bridging from US to local GAAP, providing information to auditors, managing timelines, and preparation of financial statements using the Onesource statutory reporting tool.
Working with third party providers to ensure local regulatory compliance related to VAT, GST, and other tax obligations in these jurisdictions.
Assisting local teams with financial queries and issues.
Preparation and submission of quarterly and yearly reporting & tax packs
Overhead budgeting and forecasting
Overview of the multi-currency Bank reconciliations for UK entities
Management of the company’s corporate card program

You Have These:
Qualified Accountant
Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (financial closure, reporting etc.)
Willingness to take a hands-on role as well as supervising output from WNS.
Experience using SAP or other ERP system
Good excel skills and analytical ability
Confident and flexible team player with the ability to work with peers across the organization
Must be able to plan and organise work to meet deadlines and determine priorities.
Pro-active
Must be able to work on own initiative to identify problem areas and work through to a satisfactory conclusion

Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or other similar position
