About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and highly organised Marketing Manager to drive the creative and strategic direction of marketing across the Shogun Audio family of brands. You’ll work closely with the wider team to plan, execute, and optimise campaigns that cut through the noise - from artist releases to events, merchandise, and beyond.
This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes music, with a sharp eye for detail, a love of creative storytelling, and the ability to deliver exceptional campaigns on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Plan and deliver full-scale marketing campaigns across all brands, channels, and platforms - ensuring all activity is completed on time and within budget.
- Collaboration: Maintain clear communication with internal teams, artists, and external partners to ensure smooth execution across all projects.
- Creative & Artwork: Collaborate with the Head of Music on campaign artwork, product design, and creative direction.
- Content & Communications: Develop engaging copy and content strategies for releases, playlists, events, and brand activity.
- Performance Reporting: Measure and report on all marketing activities to identify key insights and areas for growth.
- Release Scheduling: Coordinate the release calendar across all brands in collaboration with the wider team.
- Advertising & Paid Media: Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns across digital platforms.
- Playlist & DSP Marketing: Develop strategies to grow and promote company-curated DSP playlists.
- Budget Management: Create, manage, and track campaign budgets.
- Events: Support live events and activations where required (some evenings and weekends may apply).
What You Bring
- 4+ years’ experience in a record label, publisher, events company or similar.
- A deep understanding of drum & bass and the electronic music scene - you’re a genuine fan, not just familiar.
- Experience juggling multiple projects at once whilst meeting deadlines.
- Top-tier communication skills and the ability to get things done with different personalities and teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office; Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress/Shopify experience is a bonus.
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
