Job Description

The Columbo Group is the team behind some of London’s most iconic venues -  Jazz Cafe, The Blues Kitchen, Phonox, The Old Queens Head, The Parakeet and more. We’re looking for a Talent & Culture Co-ordinator to support recruitment, onboarding, and office operations for our Promotions team. This role ensures a smooth hiring process, a great introduction for new starters, and a strong employer brand that reflects the creativity and culture behind our venues.
 
What you’ll be doing: 
 
Talent acquisition & employer brand: 
  • Manage recruitment for all Promotions roles, from advertising to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to plan and improve hiring strategies.
  • Write and post engaging job adverts across platforms.
  • Be the voice of The Columbo Group’s employer brand - ensuring all hiring comms reflect our culture and creativity.
  • Proactively source candidates and maintain relationships with recruiters.
Onboarding & culture: 
  • Deliver a structured onboarding experience that introduces new starters to our people and culture.
  • Coordinate IT and equipment setup before start dates.
  • Lead engaging inductions covering values, culture, and key contacts.
  • Support internal communication and culture-building initiatives across venues.
Office & team support:
  • Oversee the running of our Camden offices, keeping them organised and inspiring.
  • Plan internal events, socials, and recognition programmes.
  • Provide administrative support to senior management and maintain accurate HR records.
What we’re looking for:
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Confident using HR systems, Microsoft 365, and recruitment platforms.
  • Passionate about people, culture, and brand storytelling.
