Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Festival & Event Press Manager to join our Events department in our UK office.

This role would mean working closely with the Festival & Events Press department who’s recent clients including the likes of Parklife, South West Four, Annie Mac’s Lost & Found, Malta Tourist Board, Afro Nation, FLY Open Air, O Beach Ibiza and Cafe Mambo.

Job Description

The candidate will report to the Senior Account Director: Festival & Event Press, and will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, with thorough knowledge of print and online press campaigns, as well as experience with on-site at events PR management.

Skills you will bring

Applicant must be confident in:

  • Developing campaign strategies and timelines
  • Press release and copy writing
  • Managing client expectations
  • Pitching and arranging competitions and features with national and regional press
  • Coordinating and hosting media on site at festivals and as part of overseas press trips
  • Communicating concisely and professionally internally, with clients and with journalists

Key Competencies

  • Have existing relationships with key journalists and titles
  • Up to date with current international festival landscape as well as industry trends generally
  • Available to attend a number of events as well as client & journalist meetings throughout the year (sometimes over weekends and bank holidays)
