Mixcloud is a global audio streaming platform with a unique catalogue of over 15 million DJ sets, radio shows and podcasts handcrafted by expert creators. With LOUD, our in-house cultural strategy studio, we help global brands embed themselves within culture. We have worked with Adidas, Marriott, Dr. Martens, Eventbrite, Sonos and more on driving creative and strategic solutions.

The Role

We are looking for an Account Director, Media & Partnerships to lead on the delivery of digital media campaign planning, execution, optimisation and reporting. In addition to this, you will also work closely with our Production team to oversee the delivery of culturally-relevant global activations.

Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding and love for culture. You will lead and develop many of our key accounts to drive commercial growth. You will be joining as a member of LOUD’s client services team, reporting into a Business Director. You will act as a bridge between clients and LOUD, representing the interests of both parties and ensuring market-leading execution. This is the perfect role for someone brilliant who’s looking for bigger challenges, accelerated career progression and more meaningful work. This is initially a 6-month full-time contract. Thereafter a permanent position within LOUD could become available.


  • You will lead on delivery of all amplification for brand partnership projects including oversight of Mixcloud on-platform media, paid social, retargeting and media partnerships.
  • You will act as a senior stakeholder on key projects, being ultimately accountable for successful delivery
  • You will interface closely with our Advertising and Production teams to ensure deliverables are hit in a timely manner
  • You will ensure the right internal resource is allocated in the right projects
  • You will manage people and teams both directly and indirectly, helping people improve themselves and their output
  • You will spot mistakes before they are made, understanding what clients want to see and making sure we deliver
  • You will guide and influence our clients to make the best decisions for projects and their businesses.
  • You will lead key interactions with clients in both the good times and the bad, finding solutions when things go wrong
  • You will create and oversee the creation of client-facing collateral, such as reports and sell-in documents
  • You will champion and protect cultural scenes and spaces, ensuring that our work contributes positively to the world


  • The successful candidate should have a proven track record of working directly with both media agencies and clients at a senior level.
  • You are a client services aficionado, with a track record in building and managing client relationships.
  • You have a strong understanding of digital media campaign planning, execution, optimisation and reporting
  • You have experience creating media proposals for pitches as well as compiling reports post campaign.
  • You understand a wide-range of key advertising acronyms and metrics
  • You stay calm under pressure
  • You understand clients' businesses and internal pressures
  • You are experienced in representing client interests internally, and vice versa
  • You understand and care about culture, ideally music and fashion. You have a side hustle (or used to)
  • You are smart, articulate and inspiring
  • You’re organised
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
