Head of Production (Merchandise) - Ceremony of Roses

Job Description

As Head of Production at Ceremony of Roses UK, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products, and driving efficiency improvements across all merchandise, Touring, VIP, Supply, Retail and E-Commerce. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

What you'll do:

  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Quality Control: Ensure products meet quality standards, implementing quality control processes and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Implement internal processes that also include international teams.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner and client invoicing kept up to date
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, minimizing waste and ensuring products are available to meet customer demand. Assist on inventory management at various warehouses.
  • Stay across latest industry trends, with a focus on music/fashion
  • Close liaison with international colleagues to replicate production or merch ranges locally.

Who you are:

  • You have proven experience in production management in the merchandise or retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of merchandise production processes, quality control, and inventory management with exceptionally strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
