Coma was born on the 3rd of December 2010 as a platform for new and talented artists to develop and emerge alongside well known artists who hardly performed in the U.K. before and in whom, we believed, brought a new emphasis to the U.K.'s underground Techno music scene.

Our goal was, and still is, to share our love for Techno in all its wider nuances. Our residents have been joined by exciting guests who have always showcased their love and passion for this particular genre of electronic music.

Coma's desire has always been to achieve its goals in a tasteful manner, creating an atmosphere that can enable both devoted dancers and laid-back listeners to equally enjoy the sounds that we love, as well as helping them discover new and inspiring ones.

Since the 22nd of October 2011, Coma has relocated in London founding even greater success thanks to our ground-breaking music and events but also thanks to people's passion and support in what we believe in.

In 2014, Coma Agency was born, with the intend to keep on developing exciting artists alongside established ones and create a vibrant artistic family. After 6 years since launching Coma, Founder and CEO Doubleffe announced the birth of Coma Records, with a four tracks V/A EP entitled "Unconsciousness Part I". The EP was the first in a series of V/A releases with tracks by Doubleffe himself, and a number of his closest friends and collaborators, such as Ritzi Lee and Detroit Techno Militia. The second record, entitled "Symptoms EP", was characterised by a minimalistic approach that looked at the early Detroit Techno movement to which Doubleffe was always mostly inspired.

2016 saw the brand's 6th Anniversary with the launch of Coma Radio, a monthly show aimed at developing, establishing and supporting both, the music and the artists we love and respect. Guests Mixes have been provided by the likes of Takaaki Itoh, J. Tijn, Fanon Flowers, ArchivOne and many others. That same year, we took over the United Stated, with a series of exclusive events in New York City, which were highly acclaimed and gained attention from Resident Advisor (the principal online music magazine) and many other electronic music media publishers.

Following that, we have collaborated on a number of very successful streaming events, in both London and N.Y.C., with other established brands such as Be-At.Tv and DJ Mag, where Doubleffe was joined by artists such as Pinch, Inigo Kennedy, Detroit Techno Militia and others.
