Dance Village is a new publisher network formed to bring together several large influential electronic music publications, currently comprising websites such as Wunderground, Ibiza Club News and Ibiza Voice, with more sites coming on stream over the next few months. All three current member sites (Wunderground, Ibiza Club News and Ibiza Voice) have been rebranded, with new updated websites and content strategies to be rolled out early August 2019. This is a key sales role within the network. You’ll be asked to sell digital campaigns into core brands, events and agencies. The role will require selling a mix of display, native, social, video and event sponsorship, so will require a creative approach. Responsibilities Develop and maintain a database of existing and new clients Take a proactive approach to developing new leads Source, open and close sales prospects Accurately manage a weekly pipeline and report performance to sales manager Achieve sales targets and quota monthly / quarterly / annually as directed Liaising with production, editorial, design, Ad Ops, accounts Ensuring CRM is 100% accurate and up to date at all times Ensuring all confirmations are correct and filed centrally and accessibly Core competencies You will be a confident and articulate sales person with a strong interest in dance music culture. You will be equally comfortable with phone sales and face to face meetings, driving for results and being counted on to exceed goals and targets successfully; consistently pushing yourself to deliver year on year growth from your patch of clients. Self-motivated and driven to work within a varied and autonomous role Able to identify, target and develop prospects Excellent communication and organisational skills Customer focused - dedicated to meeting expectation; acting with the client in mind. Candidate Criteria Digital ad sales experience is desired but not essential - we are looking for high quality sales skills. Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills as well as keen attention to detail; Strong new business skills and tenacious approach to business growth A strong team player with a proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales revenues in conjunction with others Good communication, written and oral, high quality administration and business skills An ability to close business in a constructive and professional manner Salary & Application We offer a huge range of benefits, perks and incentives.
